Save Stars (in Monsters, Inc. Run, known as Saves and SaveStars) are powerful items that, as their name suggests, are used to aid the player when he or she fails a level. A large icon that says "Save Me!" raises from the bottom of the screen, and if the player touches it while they have a Save Star, then one is used up. When used, Save Stars create a boost effect on a player that makes them temporarily very fast and invulnerable, similar to a Fireball Powerup.

Save Stars may be purchased in the games' stores. The player may buy just one, but they can buy a set of 5, 10, or 25 as well. The player gets a better deal by buying larger sets of Save Stars, as they save Mega Points by doing so.

HistoryEdit

Mega JumpEdit

Save Stars make their debut in this game. They can be purchased from the store an used when the player dies.

Mega Run: Redford's AdventureEdit

Save Stars reappear in Mega Jump: Redford's Adventure, and have a slightly bigger role in this game. The player can now use Save Stars whenever they want, instead of waiting for die first. Save Stars can also be earned via leveling-up, when the player reaches certain levels.

Monsters, Inc. RunEdit

In this game, these Powerups are known as just "Saves". They behave the same way they did in Mega Run: Redford's Adventure.

Mega Jump 2Edit

Although Save Stars themselves don't appear in Mega Jump 2, Gems do, which serve the purpose of a Save Star. In this game, each time player dies, the amount of Gems needed to pay doubles .
